About This Site

In 2022 I was asked to give a presentation to a small group of believers as to how I teach my small children Torah and other Biblical stories, lessons and principles.
After the session, I was asked to share my presentation. I was not prepared for that, but after some encouragement from my husband, we created this website as a way to enable others to come and get resources and information which they may find useful in teaching Biblical lessons to their children.
On this site you will find three things:
1) My writings in the form of Blog posts. In these, I share ideas on various topics related to teaching my kids, topics, methods, tools, and give examples and pictures.
2) Materials for download. These are materials I have created for teaching my kids. Some people may find it easier to use some of these instead of creating them on their own from scratch.
3) Links to helpful or interesting resources on the internet. This can include resources that you may find useful in creating your own teaching/learning materials, as well as resources adults may be interested in expanding their knowledge of Torah and the Old Testament.
Finally, you may find resources on this page in three different languages: German, English and Hebrew. I attempt to make all the Blog posts and pages available in German and English. However, things like resources I create for teaching/learning may only be available in one language.
About Me

Hi, my name is Rebekka. I am a thirty-something year old mother of two beautiful daughters, born 2015 and 2016.
Since about 2019 I have been teaching my girls about Torah and the bible.
In our home we celebrate the Feast of the Lord, including the weekly Sabbath as well as the seven feasts such as Passover, Sukkot, etc.
I believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah expected in the Old Testament. I also believe that the Old Testament is of extreme value to followers of Yeshua, and I want to teach that to my kids.
I am Swiss, and speak Swiss German as my mother tongue. I also speak High German, English, and Hebrew.
I studied and completed a double-major in Old Testament Studies and Jewish Studies at the University Basel.
In addition to being an avid reader of the Word, I also enjoy gardening, sewing, cooking, painting and singing.
